Carville and Buchanan carpooling? These two political rivals have agreed to commute together in an effort to encourage more D.C. residents to take advantage of the area's rideshare options. No matter how much they disagree on politics, they would rather carpool than face the Washington traffic alone.
Gevalia Kaffe, fine purveyor of European coffees, has partnered with Commuter Connections to increase awareness of its rideshare and Guaranteed Ride Home programs, encourage residents to try alternate forms of transportation such as carpooling, vanpooling, buses, Metrorail, and commuter trains and provide delicious tasting coffee for the morning commute.
Gevalia and Commuter Connections will conduct kick-off events to launch the campaign at various Park and Rides in the region including Prince George's County, Maryland at I-95 and the Beltway; Frederick County, Maryland, Urbana at I-270 and Route 80; and Loudoun County, Virginia, Dulles North Transit Center at Route 634 and Route 606, near the Dulles Greenway.
