RACE FANS 'DRIVE THE MILE' TOMORROW
STORY, PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
(Milwaukee, Wis.) April 15, 2005 - TOMORROW, The Milwaukee Mile opens
it's pit gates to allow race fans to drive their personal vehicles
around America's Legendary Oval. This annual "Drive The Mile" event
runs from 9:00am until 2:00pm, rain or shine.
WHAT: DRIVE THE MILE
WHEN: Saturday, April 16, 2005, 9:00am - 2:00pm
LAP COUNT: 3 laps for each admission at a moderated speed
ADMISSION: 2 non-perishable food items to be donated to the Hunger
Task Force and the
purchase on April 16 of a reserved seat race ticket to a 2005 race
event.
If already have a 2005 'Mile ticket, admission is 2 non-perishable food
items and $14, which will buy a reserved NASCAR Truck Series ticket, to
be donated to Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee.
IMPORTANT:
Must be 18 years of age and older to drive
Must present a valid Wisconsin drivers license
Must present proof of current vehicle insurance.

From A.J. Foyt, Parnelli Jones and drivers with the last names of
Allison, Andretti and Earnhardt, a virtual "who's who" of auto racing
superstars have raced on the historic one mile oval. Now race fans can
drive at a moderated speed around The Milwaukee Mile.
Participants can roll right into the speedway's new Victory Lane when
they're done with taking their laps and have their photo taken. Race
cars and car clubs will be on display in the speedway's infield. Food
and refreshments will also be available for purchase.
Charitable contributions: All drivers asked to donate two
non-perishable food items to support Hunger Task Force, All Krispy Kreme
doughnut/coffee money to Hunger Task Force.
If race fan already has a 2005 event ticket, their $14 admission will
buy a NASCAR Truck Series race ticket given to Big Brothers & Big
Sisters of Greater Milwaukee.
