Chrysler Group Announces Changes in Assembly and Stamping Operations

* Simon Boag named Vice President -- Assembly and Stamping Operations * P. Craig Corrington chooses to retire after 32 years with the Chrysler Group

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 13 -- Chrysler Group announced today that Simon Boag, 39, was named Vice President of Assembly and Stamping Operations, replacing P. Craig Corrington, 54, who is retiring after 32 years. Boag will be responsible for all Chrysler Group vehicle assembly and stamping operations in the U.S. and Canada.

Boag has been in various manufacturing management positions since 1988 and is an 11-year veteran of General Motors. In his most recent assignment, he was President and Managing Director for General Motors Argentina, Uruguay & Paraguay. Prior to that, he served as President of CAMI Automotive Incorporated, a General Motors/Suzuki joint venture, where he was responsible for all aspects of the joint venture including manufacturing. Boag also has prior experience with Ford Motor Company.

"We are excited about Simon joining the Chrysler team. He brings a wealth of automotive leadership experience in a variety of challenging assignments," said Frank Ewasyshyn, Executive Vice President - Chrysler Group. "He will play a key role in implementing our Smart manufacturing strategy."

Boag has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto and a master of science degree in management from Stanford University, where he graduated as a Sloan Fellow.

Corrington was appointed Vice President of Assembly and Stamping Operations in March 2004, where he was responsible for all vehicle assembly and stamping operations. Prior to that appointment, he held various positions in the powertrain and stamping manufacturing operations. He joined the company in 1973 as a management trainee.

"Craig has played a significant role in the success of our manufacturing operations over the past 32 years," said Ewasyshyn. "We wish him the very best in his retirement."
