Shane Hmiel about Texas Motor Speedway:
“I really like Texas Motor Speedway. It seems like the track gets better and
better every time we go back to race there. I ran third in the Busch race at
Texas in 2003, and I’m really excited about taking the WINFUEL Chevrolet there
this year. We’re taking chassis #06, which is my favorite car, and I really
think we should be good all weekend. Hopefully we will unload fast and it will
give us an opportunity to try some things during practice. This car has been
good to us this year, and my WINFUEL guys have worked really hard to turn it
around and get it ready to race at Texas.??

Hmiel about participating in the NASCAR Busch Series Texas Race Advance last
week:
“We had a really good day in Texas last Thursday. Justin Labonte
and I had the opportunity to come out the track early to take some media
members for rides around the track. We also stopped by to be guests on the Pugs &
Kelly radio show, which was the most fun I’ve had doing radio. Finally, we went
out to the American Airlines arena to sign autographs at the NEXTEL
Experience and to see the game. Texas Motor Speedway and NASCAR really did a good job
of putting together fun things to promote the upcoming race.??

Shane Hmiel about the incident that occurred at Bristol Motor Speedway:
“I’m looking forward to getting back in the #32 WINFUEL Chevy
this weekend at Texas. I would like to put the incident that occurred at Bristol
behind us so we can all go forward in a positive manner. My team has filed
an appeal with NASCAR regarding the penalties that were assessed and we will
make the best presentation that we can. Like we said before, whatever the
decision is, we will respect it and move on with the rest of our season.??
