Hubinette Begins Quest to Repeat as the 2005 Formula Drift Champion

April 12, 2005
Center Line, Mich. - Samuel Hubinette is set to begin his quest to repeat as
the 2005 Formula Drift champion this weekend in New Jersey. After months of
preparation and speculation, Hubinette will reemerge into the drifting scene
once again behind the wheel of one of the most powerful domestic sports cars of
its time. Drifting enthusiasts and competitors alike will get a new look at
this year's version of the Mopar Dodge Viper this weekend at Wall Township
Speedway.

It's a debut that the team is looking forward to, though Hubinette is the
first to point out that the 2005 season is already much different from last
year's. With all eyes sure to be on him, Hubinette is focused on making the most of
this weekend's event.

"This weekend is going to be a trial run for the team," Hubinette said. "We
plan to test early this week in Michigan to try to fine-tune the car as much as
possible. The car we're competing with this year is quite different from the
one we used in 2004, and we're going to have to utilize its strengths. It's
going to be a work in progress throughout the season, but I have no doubt that
we'll be able to put on a good show this weekend."

Hubinette will have the confidence of a champion on his side, though, as well
as the expertise of the DC Performance team. The group's experience with and
knowledge of the Mopar Dodge Viper will be an asset to their efforts.

"I've been working with the DC Performance team in the Viper Racing League,
and we've won six events this season," Hubinette pointed out. "The relationship
our team has is strong, and I feel that this team will work together well.
They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the Mopar Dodge Viper, and I'm
confident that we'll make quite an impression this season."

"The Crazy Swede" was crowned the Inaugural Need For Speed Formula D Series
Champion in August of 2004 at Irwindale Speedway. He swept three of four events
en route to the title. In 2005, Hubinette has picked up six Viper Racing
League event wins competing for Rad Racing.
