Automation Alley Establishes First of its Kind Agreement With Local Chinese Business Association Chapter
TROY, Mich., April 12 -- Automation Alley today announced a partnership agreement with the Detroit Chinese Business Association (DCBA). The agreement represents the first time a Chinese Business Association chapter has formally partnered with a U.S.-based business organization to allow access to Chinese host delegations.
The agreement provides Automation Alley Export Center members with admission to DCBA events featuring visiting Chinese trade delegations, companies, industry officials, as well as political and educational representatives. Additionally, the partnership provides for the exchange of non-privileged China-related company, trading, exporting and government information.
"The DCBA partnership provides significant opportunities for Southeast Michigan businesses," said Ken Rogers, executive director, Automation Alley. "Primarily, the agreement offers a chance to establish meaningful business relationships with a country that is looking for the products and services Southeast Michigan has to offer."
Automation Alley's Export Center is also providing benefits to DCBA members, including the opportunity to participate in its China-related activities, such as educational and informational seminars and forums. Additionally, the DCBA will have access to Automation Alley's meeting and conference rooms, as well as its computers and computer support services.
"The agreement with Automation Alley offers our local Detroit members a wealth of additional resources in Southeast Michigan," said Raymond Xu, president, Detroit Chinese Business Association. "We are excited at the significant number of opportunities this partnership presents."
A ceremonial signing of the agreement took place this morning at Automation Alley's headquarters in Troy during a seminar on exporting to China.
