Fleetguard Receives Supplier of the Year Award from Volvo/Mack

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--April 11, 2005--Fleetguard Inc., the global filtration, exhaust, coolant and chemical specialist for diesel and gas powered equipment, has received the Partner Plus Award for 2004 from Volvo/Mack.

The honor was given to Fleetguard, a business unit of Cummins Inc. , at the Volvo/Mack UPTIME 2005 trade show in Las Vegas in late February, which was attended by more than 1,800 Volvo/Mack Parts and Service managers from North America. Three other key suppliers were recognized with the award along with Fleetguard.

As part of their service to Volvo/Mack, the Fleetguard leadership team developed dealer specific business plans and designed travel routes that allowed them to be in contact with key dealers. "The close relationship they established with the Volvo/Mack dealers made all the difference," Veron said.
