National Auto Groups Launching RouteOne

More than 16,500 dealers now enrolled on RouteOne's credit application management system

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 7 -- RouteOne LLC announced today that several major national auto groups have launched RouteOne's web- based credit application management system in their stores. These groups include Asbury Automotive Group, AutoNation, Bergstrom Automotive, CarMax, Findlay Automotive, Penske Automotive Group, Sonic Automotive, UnitedAuto Group, VT (Van Tuyl), Inc., and West Herr Automotive Group.

RouteOne, a joint venture created by DaimlerChrysler Services, Ford Motor Credit Company, General Motors Acceptance Corporation, and Toyota Financial Services, allows dealers to submit credit applications to and receive decisions from multiple finance sources, all from a single desktop. This process will simplify and vastly improve the credit application process for dealers, their customers and finance sources alike.

RouteOne was introduced to dealers nationwide throughout 2004, and rollout continues into 2005. Currently, more than 16,500 dealers are enrolled on the system, which is free to dealers, and open to franchised and independent vehicle dealers. RouteOne provides dealers unprecedented access to their finance sources by combining the unique advantages of the major captive systems with access to other finance sources. RouteOne also offers a comprehensive reporting suite that allows dealers to better manage their business.

RouteOne will provide dealers seamless integration with their Dealer Management Systems, eliminating the need to re-enter deal information. Integration enables dealers to exchange credit application and decision information with their finance sources in near-real time.
