Advanced Battery Systems Announces Corporate Relocation in Support of Strategic Growth Initiative

LOS ANGELES--April 4, 2005--Advanced Battery Systems, Southern California's leading battery and power systems supplier, announced today the firm has completed its relocation into new corporate offices located in Los Angeles, California.

The move is part of the firm's strategic growth initiative that included the successful acquisition of Delta Battery, the automotive industry's leading supplier of starters, alternators, and auto electric components in August of 2004.

The new location features a larger operations center along with advanced warehousing and distribution facilities that will allow Advanced Battery Systems to service customers more effectively, and will provide shared resources for Delta Battery's operating needs.
