Auto Data Network's CarParts Technologies Subsidiary Announces Contract to Provide Its Online Ordering System to Leading U.S. Tire Distributor and Dealer Network
NEW YORK & TUNBRIDGE WELLS, U.K.--April 1, 2005--Auto Data Network Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: ADNW), a provider of software and real-time data services to the worldwide automotive industry today announced that Royal Tire, Minnesota's largest privately-held independent retail, wholesale and commercial tire dealer, and its Tire One network of over 250 independent tire dealers in the upper Mid-West, have deployed CarParts Technologies' VAST(TM) POS and OpenWebs(TM) online ordering software.CarParts' OpenWebs(TM) e-commerce Server has been deployed by Royal Tire to enable Tire One dealers to purchase tires from its warehouse distribution operations using a business-to-business online browser application. In addition, Royal Tire has gone operational with the ability to receive electronic hot shot and stock orders from Tire One and other independent tire and service outlets in its geographic markets that are running the CarParts VAST Point-of-Sale (POS) system -- a market leading POS used in over 2000 multi-store tire and service outlets across the country.
