UGN, Inc. Selects Tinley Park for New Headquarters
CHICAGO, March 31 -- UGN, Inc., a leading Tier 1 supplier of automotive acoustic, interior trim and thermal management products, today announced the company will be moving its corporate headquarters from Chicago to Tinley Park, Ill. The move is expected to take place in June 2005.

UGN's new headquarters occupies 30,000 sq. ft. and is a $6 million investment for the company. The new headquarters will employ 100 of UGN's current team members. In addition to its corporate headquarters, UGN has manufacturing facilities in Chicago Heights, Ill., Jackson, Tenn. and Valparaiso, Ind.
Headquartered in Chicago, UGN was incorporated in 1986 as a joint venture between Rieter Automotive Systems and Nihon Tokushu Toryo (Nittoku). Rieter's innovative leadership in theoretical acoustics combined with advanced manufacturing processes and quality system design by Nittoku have established UGN as a preferred supplier of acoustic, interior trim and thermal management products to the Japanese transplant automotive industry in North America.
