UGN, Inc. Names Myotte Director of Purchasing

CHICAGO, March 31 -- Ronald E. Myotte has been named director of purchasing for UGN, according to Peter Anthony, president and CEO. In his position, Myotte will use his 17 years of supply management experience to oversee all procurement activities and provide strategic commercial direction for the organization.

Prior to joining UGN, Myotte held several positions with Lear Corporation including commodity manager for plastics, resins, fasteners, carpet and acoustics with responsibilities for overseeing more than one billion dollars of purchases. In this role, Myotte achieved significant cost reductions, quality improvements, and supply optimization results.

"Ron comes to UGN with a long history of success," said Anthony. "His experience with automotive acoustics will further enhance our products to customers as well as UGN's position in the automotive industry."

Myotte attended the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. and earned a bachelor of business administration in finance from Alma College, Alma, Mich. Additionally, he has attained his certified purchasing manager (C.P.M.) and achieved Six Sigma black belt certification.
