March Navicom GPS Sales Better Than Expected With 20% Increase in Total Subscribers
Navicom Also Announced Today That a Florida Police Department is Testing Navicom in Their Narcotics and Homicide Division
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 30 -- NowAuto, Inc. today announced a corporate update for wholly owned subsidiary Navicom. March was a record month with over 300 GPS units sold. Beginning in April, NowAuto's newest acquisition is expected to sell 150 additional Navicom units every month. This could increase Navicom's monthly GPS sales between 300 and 500 per month.
Navicom also announced today that a Florida Police Department is testing Navicom in their Narcotics and Homicide Division. The agency has also applied for a grant from the State of Florida to expand Navicom GPS applications throughout the department.
NAVICOM GPS WILL BE EXHIBITING AT THE NABD SHOW MAY 4 - 6 IN LAS VEGAS
Navicom also announced today it will be exhibiting at The National Alliance of Buy Here, Pay Here Dealers, May 4-6 at Bally's Event Center in Las Vegas. Navicom will be displaying and demonstrating their GPS technology and services. "We would like to extend a cordial invitation for media outlets and interested parties to come by our booth and see the steps made by Navicom in research, development, and marketing of GPS tracking technology and see why it is becoming part of our daily lives," said Scott Miller, CEO of NowAuto.
Navicom has added 8 new US distributors as well as 4 more in Canada in the past 30 days. An average of 10 dealers' inquires come in daily requesting information on becoming a new distributor for Navicom. Currently, Navicom has over 30 distributors across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Keith Tench, President of Navicom, states, "GPS technology, even though established, is in my opinion, in its infancy. The growing numbers of companies that need to protect their assets and better manage their fleet are turning to GPS technology. As the technology becomes more mainstream, it is becoming economically feasible to implement this across the numerous business channels. We are seeing an explosion in the business sector as well as our growing distributor network."
"We are starting to see interest from large industry retailers who want to switch to Navicom based on our ease of use and custom configurations. Since our application is Internet-based and not software-driven, the idea of obtaining a police report before tracking your asset is not a compelling sales strategy. With Navicom, it's just point and click," continued Tench.
Distributors for Navicom are selling to other resellers across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Many distributors have established online websites such as http://www.mobilegpssystems.com/california and http://www.navicomsystems.com/. With Navicom assistance, these distributors have been forging relationships across the country within all key verticals, Government, Enterprise and Retail. Many distributors have several geographic locations as well as a dense distribution channel beneath them.
