Suzuki Recalls 3,200 Cars in 3 Models in Japan

TOKYO March 30, 2005; Japan Today reported that Suzuki Motor Corp said Tuesday it will recall a total of 3,214 vehicles in three models for free repairs due to fears about problems with shifting gears or moving the car.

Subject to the action are the Alto minivehicle, Wagon R and Carol cars manufactured between December 1998 and June 2001, Suzuki said in a report submitted to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. (Kyodo News)
