ADP Dealer Services Wins 2004 Partnership Commitment Award From AutoNation

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., March 28 -- ADP Dealer Services, a leading provider of integrated computing solutions to 19,500 automotive and truck dealers throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, today announced it has won AutoNation's 2004 Partnership Commitment Award. AutoNation is America's largest automotive retailer and its Partnership Commitment Award honors suppliers who excel in servicing AutoNation dealerships throughout the year.

Dave Carson, national account director for ADP, recently accepted the award at the AutoNation Vendor Recognition Awards ceremony in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Approximately 160 AutoNation suppliers were eligible for the 2004 Partnership Commitment Award won by ADP. In assessing vendor performance and determining winners of its Vendor Recognition Awards, AutoNation executives review detailed report cards of various suppliers, consult with regional and corporate department leaders, and then vote to select the winner of each service award.

ADP is the leading provider of dealer management systems (DMS) to automotive and truck dealers throughout the United States, and is the single- source DMS provider for AutoNation dealerships.

The Partnership Commitment Award marks the second honor ADP has received from AutoNation in two years. Last year, ADP won AutoNation's Best Technology Award.

"AutoNation is proud to partner with suppliers of ADP's caliber and proud to recognize ADP with our 2004 Partnership Commitment Award," said Laura Payne, director of purchasing for AutoNation, who presented ADP with its award. "ADP listens to us and develops new technology solutions to help us streamline operations. We conduct endless hours of strategic planning together. We brainstorm and think outside the box. We work hard together and we have fun together. We respect the ethics and values of each other's company."

Kevin Henahan, senior vice president of marketing for ADP, said, "ADP Dealer Services is honored to win this award from AutoNation, who uses the services of many quality suppliers. AutoNation's decision validates ADP's position as a company that is focused on the dealer and committed to product and service development that helps dealers sell more cars, parts and service profitably."
