NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series from Gainesville Raceway

NHRA LUCAS OIL DRAG RACING SERIES - SOUTHEAST DIVISION

GAINESVILLE RACEWAY, GAINESVILLE, FLA.
March 26, 2005

GAINESVILLE RACEWAY'S LUCAS OIL EVENT RAINED OUT FOR THE SECOND TIME

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - NHRA Southeast division racers returned to
Gainesville Raceway to complete the rain-delayed NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing
Series event only to be rained out again. The event has been postponed to
August 5 and 6 with time trials on Friday and eliminations on Saturday. The
original date was February 25-27.

"The weather just continued to deteriorate throughout the
morning," said NHRA Southeast division director Bill Holt. "Now there's a
severe thunderstorm watch in effect through this afternoon, calling for
heavy rain, large hail, strong gusty winds and lightning and the forecast
calls for more of the same Sunday. So we'll come back in August and get
this one in the books."

For more information about the event in August visit
www.NHRAdiv2.com.

Southeast Division racers head to Montgomery Motorsports Park in
Alabama for the next NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, April 1-3.
