CSM Worldwide Appoints Robert J. Swistock as CFO
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., March 24 -- Automotive market forecasting firm CSM Worldwide has named Robert J. Swistock as its chief financial officer, according to Katie Cather, chairman. Swistock is responsible for CSM's global finance, accounting, financial controls and tax functions.
Swistock brings a strong financial background with 25 years of CFO experience, including NYSE- and NASDAQ-listed companies where he directed financial transactions, SEC and NASDAQ reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and implemented cost efficiencies.
"We welcome Bob to the team," said Cather. "His wide range of financial expertise will help ensure CSM is positioned to accommodate its rapid global growth, and our customers will benefit from his experience in corporate financial management."
Prior to CSM, Swistock was president and founder of Corporate Financial Advisors in Ann Arbor, a strategic financial planning service for business owners, where he revised financial controls, implemented cash flow reporting and managed debt and equity. He also held CFO positions at Reynard Motorsport Inc., CGAS, Inc. and Patrick Petroleum Company.
Swistock holds a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He served as past president of the Institute of Management Accountants and is a member of the Financial Executives Institute, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and Ann Arbor Rotary International. He lives in Chelsea, Mich.
