Bosch Announces New Americas Chassis Division President
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., March 23 -- Bosch has announced the appointment of Ronaldo Reimer as president of its North and South American Chassis Division, and executive vice president of its global Chassis Systems business effective April 1, 2005. Reimer succeeds Hans Weckerle who will retire after 29 years with the company.

Reimer, who joined Bosch in 1985, most recently served the company as senior vice president, Latin America for its Diesel Systems business with responsibility for its large manufacturing plant and engineering facility in Curitiba, Brazil. He has held a variety of engineering, manufacturing and leadership positions at Bosch in Germany, France, Brazil and the U.S. including positions at the company's Charleston, South Carolina facility. Reimer holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In his 29 years with Bosch, Weckerle held a variety of positions. Prior to his current position, he was executive vice president, global manufacturing for Bosch Braking Systems, with responsibility for manufacturing at the division's 25 plants worldwide. From 1988 to 1996, he served as executive vice president, manufacturing, Robert Bosch Corporation and worked in several manufacturing and managerial positions at Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany from 1976 to 1987.
