The Rainbow/PUSH Coalition (RPC) is a multiracial, multi-issue, international membership organization founded by Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. RPC focuses on social, racial and economic justice. The Wall Street West and the Automotive Project are programs supported by RPC.
The Wall Street West Project's goal is to change the climate in which under-served populations engage in economic life by encouraging public and private entities to improve hiring and promotion practices, increase contracting for goods and services, increase minorities on corporate boards and increase the amount of business that minority firms do with each other.
The Automotive Project serves as the bridge to greater economic opportunities between minority and majority corporations, thereby encouraging partnerships and joint ventures. The Project provides forums in which non-traditional relationships are developed and can flourish.
