AVP Nissan Series Continues Partnership With NBC Sports
- Network to Provide 14 Hours of Live Tournament Coverage -
LOS ANGELES, March 16 -- AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, Inc. ("AVP"), a wholly owned subsidiary of AVP, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ONET) , a lifestyle sports entertainment company focused on professional beach volleyball, and NBC Sports jointly announced an expanded schedule of coverage for the tour's Nissan Series events in 2005. The network will broadcast 14 hours of live tournament coverage from five tour events, a 33 percent increase in coverage over last season.

NBC kicks off its coverage of the AVP Nissan Series with coverage from the tour's newest stop, Cincinnati, Ohio on July 2-3. NBC's schedule continues with coverage of both the men's and women's finals at the Hermosa Beach Open on July 23-24, the Huntington Beach Open on August 13-14, the Manhattan Beach Open on August 20-21 and the championship finale at the Chicago Open, Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 3-4.
All tournament coverage will air live on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-6 p.m. ET except the Championship finale, which will air from 2-4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept 4.
