Mace Security International Signs Two Agreements to Sell Products in Ireland & the United Kingdom Valued at $17.6 Million in Sales over Six Years
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.--March 15, 2005--Mace Security International, Inc. ("Mace") , a manufacturer of electronic surveillance and personal defense products and an owner and operator of car and truck wash facilities, today announced that it signed two separate exclusive agreements with Brandchain, LLC ("Brandchain") to purchase for re-sell Mace electronic surveillance products in Ireland ("Ireland Agreement") and the United Kingdom ("UK Agreement").Pursuant to the terms of the Ireland Agreement, Brandchain has the exclusive right to sell Mace's electronic surveillance products in Ireland. Brandchain is required to purchase a minimum of $600,000 of products annually for each calendar year through 2010. Brandchain has already issued its first $600,000 purchase order, and as required by the agreement, Mace has received $200,000 as partial payment with the balance to be paid upon delivery of the products ordered.
Pursuant to the terms of the UK Agreement, Brandchain has exclusive rights to sell Mace's electronic surveillance products in the United Kingdom. In 2005, there is no minimum purchase requirement. In 2006, Brandchain is required to provide Mace with minimum purchases of $2.0 million. During the calendar years of 2007 through 2010, Brandchain is required to provide Mace with minimum annual purchases of $3.0 million.
