QUOTES RE: LAP 13 ACCIDENT

Brian Vickers

#25 GMAC/ditech.com Chevrolet

WHAT HAPPENED?

You know, we just got wrecked. It's a shame. Junior apologized which is
good. Stuff happens and guys make mistakes. I'm just disappointed for
the GMAC Chevrolet team. We had a great car. We had an awesome car for
the race, it handled so good. We were moving up toward the front. We
didn't have a good day in qualifying but it was going to be a good day
for us.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

#8 Budweiser Chevrolet

I got into the back of Brian (Vickers) going into Turn 1 and turned him
around and got out of the race. It's a big mistake on my part. It got to
the corner too hard and it's really not a fault of him at all. It's my
fault and it's a shame and I apologized to him and everyone at Hendrick
Motorsports. And hopefully next week will be a lot better week.

Bobby Labonte

#18 Interstate Batteries Chevrolet

I saw the smoke and couldn't' see anything because of the smoke. You've
got to get these cars so loose to drive them through the center of the
corner on entry, that (when) I turned the wheel down to go left, I spun
out.
