TRG and TRG East - Homestead win
victory!
TRG scored its second-consecutive Rolex Sports Car Series GT win at
Homestead-Miami Speedway, powered by smart pit strategy. Marc Bunting and
Andy Lally took the victory in the No. 65 Auto Gallery Porsche 911 GT3 Cup
car. Their teammates didn't fare as well – Colin Braun and Brad Coleman
finished 21st in GT after a crash took their No. 64 Team16 Porsche out of
the race. The No. 61 TRG East Porsche, driven by Ryan Dalziel and Bryan
Sellers, started from the pole and led the first part of the race, but was
slowed by a broken water line, dropping the rookie pair to 16th.

Ryan Dalziel, TRG East No. 61:
"We're a bit disappointed as a team. Peter and TRG East gave us a car that
could have won the race, we just had a bit of bad luck. I'm thankful to TRG
East for the chance to drive the car, and hopefully they'll invite us back!"
Bryan Sellers, TRG East No. 61:
"It wasn’t as good a completion as we'd wanted, but everyone did a great
job. I think we just ended up a little unlucky. We were in good shape and
running pretty decent laps, and Ryan and I made a good lineup.
Unfortunately, things happen in racing, but we had an excellent time. We’re
both looking forward to doing it again."
Colin Braun, Team16/TRG No. 64:
"Every time we went through there [oval turn four], it's been flat-out, real
easy. I was hooked up going through four, I just started to let it out and
something went, kind of like a wobble, and I spun and went into the outside
wall. I don't know what happened. I feel really sorry for the guys because
they worked so hard."
Brad Coleman, Team16/TRG No. 64:
"We had a tough race today. I didn't get to drive, but Colin felt like
something snapped on the car. He's my teammate and I support him. We'll
regroup and get ready for the next race."
Marc Bunting, Auto Gallery/TRG No. 65:
"The car was great! The track was very greasy and the first 20 or 30 minutes
there were a lot of yellows. Fortunately, I stayed out of all the carnage
and kept the car clean to turn over to Andy, so he could bring it home in
the end. The crew made a great call on the last pit stop and we got a lap
up. That was a great call and a great race."
Andy Lally, Auto Gallery/TRG No. 65:
"I've got to thank TRG and the guys for putting a good car under Marc and
me, and I thank Marc for keeping a cool head out there and driving fast. We
had a little bit of an issue in the pits the first time so we had to come
from behind, but the car was so good, it made it easy."
Kevin Buckler, TRG team owner:
"For Marc and Andy to win by a lap and a half is awesome. Marc drove hard at
the beginning of the race and gave Andy a great position in the car, and
then Andy turned around and absolutely drove the wheels off the car.
Everyone did a super job, and I’m thrilled for my guys. Colin and Brad were
having a great race too, and they did a fantastic job all weekend long."
