Audiovox Named Exclusive Marketer of RaySat Sat Antenna

AUDIOVOX NAMED EXCLUSIVE MARKETER OF NEW RAYSAT ANTENNA FOR RECEIVING
DIGITAL SATELLITE TV IN MOVING VEHICLES
Agreement Covers Sales to Retailers, Auto Installers, Auto Expeditors, and
Aftermarket Channels in U.S. and Canada

VIENNA, Va., March 4, 2005 -- RaySat, Inc., the leading global supplier of
in-motion antennas and communications solutions announced that the Audiovox
Corporation
will be the exclusive marketer of RaySat satellite TV
antennas for the automotive aftermarket, including automotive electronics
retailers and installers, new car expeditors, and other selected automotive
aftermarket sales channels in the United Sates and Canada.
Audiovox, a top selling brand of mobile video entertainment systems, will
rebrand RaySat’s SpeedRay™ 1000 antenna as the Audiovox SkyBox. The
low-profile (5”), roof-mounted system, which receives programming from any
U.S. and Canadian direct-to-home digital satellite TV provider, lets moving
automobiles receive hundreds of satellite TV and music channels. RaySat
makes a similar product used on Europe's high-speed trains and markets
another version to auto makers for OEM applications.
"The exclusive agreement with Audiovox expanding our product into the
12 volt aftermarket is a tremendous step forward," said Samer Salameh,
RaySat's president and CEO. "Audiovox's distribution and reputation in the
mobile entertainment segment will give our products a huge push, and its
choice of RaySat affirms our position as the technology leader for in-motion
satellite TV."
"Without question, in-motion TV is the next big wave in back seat mobile
entertainment," said Tom Malone, Audiovox Sr. vice president of sales.
“Passengers are getting accustomed to having video while traveling, and they
want to have access to the same choices on the road that they do at home.
They won't watch a DVD if they can get the game, the race, or their favorite
reality show on live TV. The SkyBox makes that possible."
Malone of Audiovox said the SkyBox, recently unveiled to its retailers and
other trade customers at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas,
would deliver to dealers second quarter.
