Non-Pneumatic Polyurethane Tire Runs Cool in High Speed Testing

Zero-Pressure Tire Rolls Through Another Important Test

BOULDER CITY, Nev., March 4 -- Amerityre Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: AMTY) . Amerityre Corporation announced today that it had successfully completed high-speed testing of its experimental non- pneumatic or "zero-pressure" polyurethane tire in testing done in compliance with FMVSS 129, the safety standard governing the testing of non-pneumatic car tires. The polyurethane elastomer tire compound has now performed very well in two of the laboratory tests required under the standard. Additional tests will be performed within the next few weeks.

"We are extremely encouraged by the results of the high speed testing," said Richard Steinke, Amerityre's President and CEO. "Our polyurethane compound, once again, shows it can run cool under heavy loads without breaking down."
