Alcoa Designs and Manufactures Product Featured at 2005 Cleveland Auto Show

CLEVELAND--March 1, 2005--At this week's Auto Show, consumers will see more than good looking cars - they will also see great looking wheels designed and manufactured right here in Cleveland.

Alcoa Wheel Products, a division of Alcoa Inc. headquartered in the Cleveland area, designed and produced forged aluminum wheels for more than a dozen vehicles on display at this week's auto show at the IX Center. Visitors will be able to see Alcoa wheels on the General Motors HUMMER, GMC Envoy, Enjoy Denali and their top-of-the-line hauler on display that features Alcoa commercial vehicle wheels, specifically manufactured for heavy duty trucks.

Ford Motor Company's exhibit prominently displays Alcoa wheels. Recognizing the brand equity the Alcoa name offers, the Ford Ranger wheels feature the Alcoa logo, while the F250 Super Duty trucks feature 17" and 18" wheels made right here in Cleveland. A special treat for visitors will be Ford's F350 Harley Davidson edition.

Nissan also recognizes the strength and durability added with a forged wheel. Visitors to the show will notice "FORGED" engraved right on a Nissan Altima on display.

"We know our customers want to put their best foot forward at the Cleveland Auto Show," said Tim Myers, General Manager for Alcoa Forged Specialty Wheels, "which is why we're excited to see Alcoa wheels made right here in Cleveland, Ohio, on so many of this year's premium vehicles on exhibit."
