KleenAir Demonstrates System at PCO Technology Fair

IRVINE, Calif.--March 1, 2005--KleenAir Systems Inc. (OTCBB:KAIR) announced today that on the weekend of Feb. 19, 2005 it participated with its strategic partner Dinex Exhaust Systems Ltd. in a three-day Technology Fair hosted by the Public Carriage Office (PCO) in London. This fair was held at the facilities used by the PCO to test all London taxis for their annual permits.

The purpose of the fair was to inform taxi drivers and taxi fleet operators of the technologies available for implementing the mayor's new mandate for taxis to meet the more stringent Euro 3 requirements. KleenAir's NOx and Particulate Reduction System was one of only two approved technologies being demonstrated on taxis that are capable of meeting the emission reduction goals of Mayor Livingston. The other is Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) conversion kits and engines, which are significantly more expensive.

Eventually some 17,500 taxis will be required to upgrade to the standard necessary under the Mayor's Clean Air Strategy. The core of the mayor's strategy is the creation of a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) covering the whole of the area within the M25 by 2007 within which all London taxis, buses and heavy goods vehicles will have to upgrade their exhaust system to meet the new greener emission standards.

The KleenAir NOxMaster(TM)is fitted to the existing exhaust systems of taxis, buses and heavy goods vehicles. It uses an injection of ammonia to transform the poisonous nitrous oxides in the exhaust fumes into the harmless constituents of nitrogen and water. The system also includes a filter that reduces harmful particulates. NOx and particulates cause a variety of lung diseases such as asthma and emphysema. They contribute to ozone depletion and cause smog. The system can be fitted in a matter of hours and is designed to offer a simple and cost-effective solution to reducing greenhouse gases.

Lionel Simons, president of KleenAir Systems Inc. commented: "Together with our partners Dinex, we are pleased to be able to demonstrate for the taxi drivers our emission reduction solution that will make a significant contribution towards the Mayor's Clean Air Strategy starting in a few months time and which will ultimately make a real difference to the air quality in the capital."

About KleenAir Systems Inc.
