WARN Industries Deploys QlikView Business Analysis Software

RALEIGH, N.C.--Feb. 2, 20058, 2005--

Leading Automotive Product Manufacturer Uses QlikView to "Tune Up" Sales, Financial and Operations Analysis and Reporting Capabilities

QlikTech Inc., a leading provider of powerful and rapidly deployable business intelligence, analysis and reporting applications, today announced that WARN Industries, the world's most recognized name in off-road products, has deployed QlikView to improve sales, financial and operational performance. WARN has deployed more than twenty-five QlikView business analysis applications to employees across several business functions to analyze and manage sales, finance, production, and operations.

WARN's initial QlikView deployment was completed in under two weeks. This deployment began with an implementation of QlikTech's Accounts Receivables and Sales Analysis applications for the JD Edwards OneWorld Xe ERP system. WARN has since added additional QlikView applications developed by their in-house development staff. New applications take between two days and two weeks to complete.

"With QlikView sales analysis, we can see product family and division performance down to the part number and product ship-to location detail," said Travis Pierce, IT Operations Manager of WARN Industries. "With our QlikView general ledger analysis application, managers can gain greater control over their budgets and spending. The manufacturing group uses QlikView to gain unprecedented visibility into their internal cost accounting inputs - including labor allocations for individual product lines. Next we plan to work with our internal quality team to build applications to support the new Six Sigma initiative. QlikView allows us to deliver any corporate metric or measurement that senior management requests with exceptional speed."

Customers such as WARN Industries demonstrate the power of QlikTech's simple approach to business analysis. Customers can deploy highly sophisticated analytics applications quickly and at a low cost. In addition, business users report that QlikView's visually driven interface gives them an unprecedented opportunity to discover insights hidden in operational data. QlikView patented architecture allows customers the best of both worlds - highly scalable powerful analysis that is easy to use and fast to deploy.

"Working with WARN Industries is a privilege and a pleasure," said Rick Pitts, president and CEO of QlikTech Inc. "The WARN team is a group of professionals who are truly excited about the impact that QlikView has made on their business. Our experience working with WARN demonstrates that QlikView allows our customers to tap the true potential of business intelligence, quickly and cost-effectively."
