Aimbridge Indirect Lending Credit Union Auto Lending Network; Maryland, D.C. and Virginia Auto Lending CUSO Taps Aimbridge for Member Network

DENVER--Feb. 2, 20058, 2005--Aimbridge Indirect Lending announced that Credit Union Auto Lending Network (CUALN), will partner with Aimbridge Indirect Lending to offer indirect auto lending services in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia. CUALN is co-owned by 30 credit unions in the two-state and District area. Aimbridge Indirect Lending connects credit unions with automotive dealer networks to provide members and potential members automobile loans.

"This partnership will optimize and streamline the way we do business with dealers and give us a real competitive advantage in this market," said CUALN chairman, Martin Breland, president and CEO of Tower Federal Credit Union. "Aimbridge's technology is terrific, and the practicality and intelligence of their approach to process automation made them the clear choice. Dealers need instant turnaround on decisions, and our credit unions need highly efficient and effective processes to compete. Aimbridge has also been a pleasure to work with - very professional, and thoroughly service oriented."

CUALN currently has relationships with more than 300 dealers. The market area generates on average $1.1 billion monthly in auto loans. Because Aimbridge maintains the dealer relationship for its customers, outsourcing to Aimbridge enables the CUSO and its affiliate credit unions to focus on other areas of importance. For CUALN, Aimbridge will triple the human resources currently devoted to selling and serving the dealer network.

"Aimbridge exhibited an incredible amount of flexibility," Rod Staatz, CUALN treasurer and president and CEO of SECU Credit Union said. "Our credit unions handle some aspects of pricing differently, and Aimbridge offered unilateral high service while allowing the credit unions to maintain a certain degree of autonomy. We aren't a one size fits all organization; Aimbridge understands that. They offered us tools to better manage and monitor the business. The Aimbridge plan helps us address our most pressing long-term goals and concerns for our lending portfolios, not the least of which are credit quality, higher service levels and growth."

Aimbridge's indirect lending program is web based and tailored to meet the individual needs of each credit union and dealer. Aimbridge has already successfully reached into the Florida, Texas, Missouri, Ohio, Colorado and Michigan markets.

"As Aimbridge grows, so does our commitment to the hundreds of credit unions we serve across the nation," said Ann Schmitt, COO of Aimbridge. "Our track record for dealer relationships, technology and service is the cornerstone of how we do business. We are proud to have CUALN recognize that and trust Aimbridge to power its indirect lending operations. We look forward to a long and successful relationship."
