TI Automotive Tanks to Fuel Popular Japanese Compact
WARREN, Mich., Feb. 28, 2005 -- TI Automotive, a leading global supplier of fluid storage and delivery systems, will provide fuel tanks for an upcoming compact vehicle being built in Europe by a major Japanese automaker.
The tanks will be produced from co-extruded plastic under the multi-year contract at TI Automotive's Deeside plant in the U.K. and at its new satellite facility in Turkey. The multi-million-dollar contract will produce nearly 900,000 fuel tanks over the life of the contract.
