Petersen/ White Lightning’s Patrick Long To Be Guest on ALMS Web Chat

 

LAS VEGAS, Nev., February 25, 2005 – New Petersen Motorsports/ White
Lightning Racing driver Patrick Long (Las Vegas, Nev.) will be a special
guest on Monday’s American Le Mans Series (ALMS) Web Chat. The live
internet chat will allow sports car fans from around the world to email
questions to the 2004 LM GT (now GT2) 24 Hours of Le Mans champion.
Questions for Long, America’s only Porsche factory driver, can be sent

starting at 8 pm (EST) on Monday, February 28th.

 

Long, who will co-drive the No. 31 Westward Ho Casino/ MMPIE/ PAWS/
Michelin Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in 2005 with Jörg Bergmeister (Langenfield,
Germany), will be making his second start at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of
Sebring on March 19th. The California native is considered a prodigy in
American motorsports. While only 23, Long has taken the sport by storm
having stepped from the high intensity world of international karting to
European formula car racing and, in 2004, fulltime into sports car
racing. After competing in the Michael Petersen-owned Porsche at Le Mans
last season, he completed his first full season in the ALMS with six
top-five GT2 finishes and sixth in the GT2 driver standings.
