Experian's AutoCheck(R) Vehicle History Reports Now Available on Yahoo! Autos

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Feb. 23, 2005 -- Experian Automotive, a division of global business solutions company Experian(R), today announced a new relationship, which makes Experian Automotive the leading provider of vehicle history reports for Yahoo! Autos.

Visitors to the Yahoo! Autos Web site now have access to a vehicle history report at a customized-landing page designed specifically for Yahoo! Autos. Through links on the Yahoo! Autos pages, customers will be able to purchase AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports for the vehicles they are viewing online.

"Experian Automotive's AutoCheck provides individuals with more information and more confidence in their purchasing decisions," said Dave Nemtuda, Experian Automotive's director for AutoCheck. "In addition, we are the vehicle history provider that enables co-branded custom user experiences so that our portal clients such as Yahoo! can offer their customers seamless service backed by the AutoCheck brand."

AutoCheck enables car buyers to quickly access the history of any used vehicle. By leveraging Experian's National Vehicle Database of nearly 500 million vehicles, AutoCheck reveals possible undisclosed or unknown problems, such as salvage and flood damage history that can affect an automobile's safety and resale value.

"Yahoo! Autos is pleased to offer the AutoCheck product," said James Slavet, general manager, Yahoo! Autos. "This relationship further supports our commitment to provide our users with comprehensive and trusted vehicle information."

The selection of AutoCheck expands Experian's relationship with Yahoo! as a trusted consumer information source. Experian has been the exclusive provider of credit reports, content and resources in Yahoo! Finance for the past five years.
