Haldex to Supply Compressors

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 18, 2005 -- Haldex announced today that its Air Management Division (a part of its Commercial Vehicle Systems business area) has signed a contract with a major global engine manufacturer to supply air compressors for their North American production. First deliveries of the new air compressor will begin late in 2005, and the contract is estimated to have a $75,000,000 value over the life of the contract.

For Haldex, this is an important strategic step to regain leadership in engine-mounted compressors for air brake systems, and fulfill its strategy to supply the global commercial vehicle market with complete air brake systems.

Boasting the highest drive-thru torque capacity and highest turbo-charged inlet pressure capability in the industry, the new high output twin-cylinder compressor design meets the demanding present and future requirements of the commercial vehicle industry.
