Chevrolet Silverado  Sweeps Front Row for Daytona 250 
Kerry Earnhardt  and Dennis Setzer will lead NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series 
Field to Green  Flag 
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. February  17, 2005; – Chevrolet’s Silverado NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series  
teams swept the front row for Friday night’s Daytona 250 on Thursday evening at 
 Daytona International Speedway. Kerry Earnhardt put the No. 15 Kraft  
Foods/Albertson Chevrolet Silverado on the pole with a lap 49.321 seconds,  182.478 
mph.  Dennis Setzer captured  the outside of the front row in the No. 46 
Chevrolet Silverado with a time of  49.368 seconds, 182.304 mph. This is the first 
career pole for Earnhardt in any  NASCAR major touring division. 
“This is a pretty awesome deal for our Billy Ballew Motorsports  team,�?? said 
Earnhardt who was the 38th of 42 trucks attempting to  qualify.  “Ritchie 
(Wauters, crew  chief) and the guys just gave me an awesome truck. This is my 
very first pole  ever; this is just a great start for our season. It was so 
awesome to come over  here in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and put the No. 15 
Billy Ballew  Kraft/Albertson Chevrolet Silverado on the pole. The truck is 
really  fast.�?? 
Tracy Hines, No.13 ThorSports Silverado and rookie Regan Smith, No. 19  
Xpress Motorsports Silverado qualified fifth and eighth respectively giving  
Chevrolet Silverado four of the top-ten fastest qualifying  times. 

Jack Sprague qualified the No. 16 Chevy Trucks Silverado in  15th while David 
Starr put the No. 75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado  in the 25th spot.  Ron  
Hornaday behind the wheel of the No. 6 GM Goodwrench Silverado qualified  28th 
in the order. 
Other Silverado qualifiers are: Kelly Sutton in the No. 02 Copaxone  
Silverado - 22nd; Matt Crafton, No. 88 Menards Silverado -  26th; Sean Murphy, No. 07 
Auto-Air Colors Silverado -  32nd; Ken Weaver, No. 08 1-800-4-A-PHONE 
Silverado – 37th;  Mike Harmon, No. 21 Global Pigeon Supply Silverado – 40th; and 
Wayne  Edwards, No. 24 Mighty Motorsports Silverado –  24th. 
New qualifying  rules are in effect for the 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck 
Series. Once  qualifying is over, the field is set by merging the highest ranked 30 
teams in  the owner standings with the fastest five trucks not in those 30 
positions, in  the order of their qualifying speeds. The 36th position is 
reserved for a former  champion, provided he is not already qualified and satisfies 
the rulebook's  criteria. If unused by a former champion, it goes to the next 
fastest truck in  qualifying.
