Dtomi Signs LOI to License New Air Spring Axle Design; A Lighter, Simpler, More Cost Effective Design; Capable of Higher Capacities
PLANTATION, Fla.--Feb. 1, 20056, 2005--Dtomi, Inc., a Nevada corporation ("Dtomi") (OTCBB:DTOI), announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to license a new, much superior design for its Air Spring Axle(TM). The Air Spring Axle(TM) is an innovative suspension designed for small and medium sized trailers that not only provides the benefits of an air suspension but also allows a trailer to be lowered to ground level to simplify loading and unloading.John Haddock, CEO of Dtomi, Inc., said: "This is a very exciting development for the company. This new single-arm axle design, for which a patent application is in process, is a major improvement over the first Air Spring Axle(TM). It is lighter, simpler and more cost-effective. Just as importantly it will allow us to build trailers with capacities of over 20 tons."
Haddock further commented: "We anticipate finalizing the licensing agreement very shortly and then focusing the company's development efforts on quickly bringing the new design to market. This new design represents another step forward in Dtomi's strategy of seeking out and bringing to market a diversified range of proprietary technologies and value-added products."
