Delphi Continues Relationship With Hendrick Motorsports For 2005

Delphi, in association with Kellogg's, sponsors No. 5 and Nextel Cup rookie driver Kyle Busch

TROY, Mich., Feb. 15 -- Delphi Corp. continues its relationship with Hendrick Motorsports and its major associate sponsorship of the No. 5 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. The 2005 NASCAR season opens this weekend at the Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Fla., with first-time Nextel Cup driver Kyle Busch behind the wheel for Delphi. The sponsorship is in association with Kellogg's.

"Delphi is proud to continue its associate sponsorship of the No. 5 Chevy with Kellogg's and Hendrick Motorsports for the 2005 NASCAR season," said Francisco A. (Frank) Ordonez, president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions and vice-president, Delphi Corporation. "We look forward to supporting Kyle Busch and his quest for the Nextel Cup Series championship." Delphi will be prominently featured on the No. 5 Chevy in all Nextel races in 2005.

In addition, Delphi will be the primary sponsor of the car at four races of the 2005 season, including races at Texas Motor Speedway (April 17), Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Aug. 7), Richmond International Raceway (Sept. 10) and Lowe's Motor Speedway (Oct. 15). Last year, Busch competed in the Busch Series, driving the No. 5 Lowe's Chevrolet Monte Carlo, finishing in second place for the championship and earning five victories along the way.

Hendrick Motorsports' newest Nextel Cup Series driver, Busch is teamed with the entire Hendrick family of drivers, including Terry Labonte, last year's driver in the Delphi-sponsored Car 5, Jeff Gordon, Brian Vickers and Jimmy Johnson. "We have had a great relationship with Delphi for the past four years and are excited to have them continue as a sponsor for the 2005 season," said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports.

In addition to the relationship with Hendrick, Delphi supplies NASCAR with Ignition Wire Sets, Electrical Connectors, Steering Pumps and the 600 Series Integral Steering Gear. For more information about Delphi's involvement in Motorsports, please visit http://www.delphi.com/motorsports .
