AIL-Ohio, Aimbridge Indirect Lending Add Three Credit Unions; Comprehensive Indirect Lending Program Designed for Community Credit Unions

DENVER--Feb. 1, 20054, 2005--AIL-Ohio; an auto financing network jointly owned by Aimbridge Indirect Lending, the OCUL Services Corporation (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ohio Credit Union League) and several Ohio credit unions; recently added three credit unions to its program in the central Ohio market. Aimbridge Indirect Lending, which is a subsidiary financing channel of Aimbridge Lending and connects credit unions with automotive dealer networks, provides members and potential members with automobile loans and leases.

Cardinal FCU, Newark, New Horizons Credit Union, Cincinnati and Midstate Educators Credit Union, Columbus, have joined the AIL-Ohio program. According to Cardinal FCU with $22 million in assets, Aimbridge's technology is the first comprehensive program available for credit unions--especially smaller-sized credit unions. Cardinal FCU is a community-chartered credit union that serves 4,500 members in Newark, Ohio.

"AIL-Ohio successfully completed its first full year of operations," said Dave Fearing, COO of OCUL Services Corporation. "During 2004, more than 60 Ohio credit unions participating in the AIL-Ohio indirect lending program funded an excess of $195 million in indirect loans. Aimbridge manages the dealer networks, day-to-day operations and supplies the technology for the indirect lending. They are a valued partner with the drive to succeed and provide credit union members beneficial services."

Jerry Jackson, CEO of Cardinal FCU, said, "Our program went live in October and has been very well received. We wanted to give members more financing options, and AIL-Ohio's program enables us to provide just that. It is an automated program that eases the communication between dealers and credit unions; and members love it because they can complete the paperwork right at the dealership. The program is workable, customizable and comprehensive--we look forward to increasing our portfolio due to this new addition to our services."

AIL-Ohio offers point of sale at the dealer and gives credit unions the opportunity to cross-sell members on other services. Approximately half of the loans that Cardinal FCU is processing are new member loans.

"We welcome new member opportunities," Jackson said. "The indirect lending program enables us to reach a market we have never reached before. If someone gets financing through our credit union for a vehicle, we have the opportunity to position our deposit services to them as well."

Aimbridge's Indirect Lending program is also web based. It is tailored to meet the individual needs of each credit union and dealer. Aimbridge has already successfully reached into the Florida, Texas, Missouri and Michigan markets.

"Partnering with OCUL Services Corp. has given us the opportunity to expand our reach in the Ohio market," said Ann Schmitt, COO of Aimbridge. "Our primary goal is to help credit unions grow their loan portfolio and expand as institutions. The indirect lending program offers a variety of services that can drive growth. We are pleased to have Cardinal FCU, New Horizons and Midstate Educators as part of our credit union network in Ohio."
