Malcolm Bricklin Hires Asian Import Expert Dennis Gore for Visionary Vehicles Team
Visionary Vehicles Beats Hyundai and Mitsubishi for New Chief Engineer
NEW YORK, Feb. 8 -- Visionary Vehicles LLC, an international automobile import/distribution company founded by Malcolm Bricklin to develop and sell a totally new line of quality vehicles at exceptionally low price points in North America has announced the appointment of auto industry veteran Dennis Gore as Chief Engineer and Executive Vice President of Research and Development. Gore has nearly three decades engineering and senior management experience in the auto industry and an accomplished track record of bringing Asian-made vehicles to the North American market.

Gore comes to Visionary Vehicles from Mitsubishi where he was Executive Director of Vehicle Development. He was also being wooed by Hyundai when he met Malcolm Bricklin in early January.
According to Gore the opportunity to be a part of history was too compelling to refuse. Gore will be responsible for development and execution of all the models being developed for the North American market. He has completed his first working session with Chery executives and engineers and is assembling his team of industry experts.
Dennis Gore brings an impressive track record in Asian auto exports to Visionary Vehicles. As the Executive Director of Vehicle Development at Mitsubishi (1998-2005), Dennis Gore oversaw the development of all cars sold in the United States including the Gallant, Endeavor, and the Eclipse. He served in a similar capacity at Honda from 1991-1998, where he was one of the first three senior Americans hired to start North American Research and Development.
Prior to Honda, Dennis Gore was and engineer at Nissan from 1980-1991 and played a central role as part of the team that helped Nissan bring cars into the North American market. Mr. Gore also graduated from General Motors Institute, where he was sponsored by Cadillac Motor Car Company.
Visionary Vehicles and Chery are targeting sales of 250,000 vehicles in its launch year and intend to reach one million units by year five.
