BKGND INFO: Visionary Vehicles LLC, an international automobile import/distribution company founded by Malcolm Bricklin, has announced a historic agreement with Chery Automobile Company, to import a totally new line of quality vehicles at exceptionally low prices to North America. These vehicles are targeted to be priced 30% below comparable models currently sold in the marketplace and will have a warranty equal to the best in the industry: 10-years/100,000 miles. Separately, General Motors has been in a legal battle with Chery Automobiles over the Chery QQ, which GM says is identical in design to the Chevrolet Spark and is also manufactured in China. The QQ is reportedly outselling the GM product almost 6-to-1 because of its high quality and 20% lower price tag.
