National Scientific Corp. Announces Purchase Order For Travado IBUS

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--Feb. 4, 2005--

NSC To Supply Their Travado Technology on Thomas Built Buses for a Southwestern U.S. School District

U.S. technology firm National Scientific Corp. (OTCBB: NSCT) today announced receipt and acceptance of a purchase order for their Travado IBUS(TM) digital video and school bus rider authentication system. The order is from Auto Safety House (ASH), a leading distributor of Thomas Built Buses. ASH will be supplying the IBUS-equipped school buses to a large southwestern United States school district.

The purchase order calls for National Scientific Corp. (NSC) to supply ASH with 25 units of their Travado IBUS(TM) Digital Video Recording (DVR) and location-aware systems. This is in response to an order ASH received for 25 school buses equipped with NSC's IBUS system. The order will be delivered to ASH in early May of this year.

In response to market demand, NSC expanded their original IBUS(TM) product into an entire technology platform called Travado(TM), which allows schools to select the appropriate level of technology for their bus security requirements. The platform is flexible and easily expandable and upgradeable to include additional features. Schools can pick from a menu of features ranging from a simple DVR system that automatically downloads any identified incident to a location-aware DVR system that has biometric identification and real-time cellular communication allowing administrators to know who is riding on the bus, where the bus is, and view, in real-time, on-board incidents from their PC.

Travado IBUS(TM) platform offers a complete solution to school administrators. The technology can provide schools with automated attendance, bus utilization data and streamlined reporting for faster reimbursement of government-sponsored programs. The system's Web-enabled software has the ability to track and locate school children as they embark and disembark school buses, create a log of buses' routes, and automatically notify parents by e-mail or cell phone text messaging when and where their children embark and/or disembark from the school bus, giving parents constant reassurance that their child is safely in school or back at home.
