Hyundai January Sales Increase Ten Percent Over January 2004
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 1, 2005 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 26,009 units for the month of January. These results represent a ten percent sales increase over January 2004. "Mother Nature threw a few challenges at the entire industry during January," said Hyundai's Vice President of National Sales, Ed Bradley. "Fortunately, Hyundai's value message continues to resonate with buyers. Our customers understand that Hyundai products offer high quality, great style and tremendous value," he added.
The popular Sonata sedan, winner of the coveted J. D. Power award for Initial Quality in the entry mid-size segment posted the best January sales in its history. "Sonata sales in 2004 represented its best year ever, and Sonata momentum continued into 2005," said Bradley. "More consumers are realizing every month that Sonata is an excellent selection in the mid-size sedan segment."
