PowerLinx, Inc. to Exhibit During Transportation & Maintenance Council's Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition

TIERRA VERDE, Fla.--Feb. 1, 2005--

PowerLinx to Feature the Latest Hindsight(TM) Rear and Side Vision Accident Avoidance Systems in Booth #742.

PowerLinx, Inc. (OTCBB:PWLX), the leader in power line communication products announced it will be exhibiting its Hindsight rear and side vision powerline technology and products during the 2005 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition of the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) of the American Trucking Assn in Tampa, FL. The TMC event runs February 15-18, 2005 at the Tampa Convention Center.

Key industry experts, prospects and customers are being invited to make an appointment to see a demonstration of PowerLinx(R) technologies and learn more about how these technologies can work for them. The PowerLinx Sales Team is ready to show how our systems will lower your accident rates and expenses while providing short term ROI. There is still time to schedule an appointment by calling 1-888-POWERLX or e-mailing sales@power-linx.com. The PowerLinx(R) exhibit will be located in booth #742.

The PowerLinx(R) Rear Vision technology uses a vehicle's existing wiring to send video from cameras mounted on the rear and side of a truck, bus or recreational vehicle to the cab of the vehicle. The signal is received from the vehicle's wiring at the dashboard and displayed on a monitor. The driver can use the video to avoid accidents in traditional blind spots without the stress of potential false alarms. Using PowerLinx proprietary technology means no hardwiring or dedicated cables which virtually eliminates costly cable maintenance and replacement.

James Markus, Director of Sales said: "This show is the home to trucking's leading fleet professionals, vehicle manufacturers and component suppliers. For progressive national and regional fleet operators, all want to keep pace with the latest technologies such as ours that will improve their businesses. Attendees are a group of qualified maintenance, operations, logistic and information executives that represent 1.3 million trailers, 750,000 straight trucks and 600,000 Class 8 tractors."
