Fuji Heavy Industries Gives Subaru Forester Major Facelift

Tokyo (JCNN) - Fuji Heavy Industries has announced the introduction of its new Subaru Forester models in Japan.

The automaker has enhanced the driving performance and utilities of the new models, giving them sophisticated design and quality looks, significant improvements over their predecessors.

The new engine system that drives the models substantially elevates acceleration performance through improved engine response and a high torque delivered in low to mid-speed ranges. The environmentally-friendly engine is conducive to high fuel economy, achieving Japan's Ultra Low Emission Vehicle standards set by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

The facelifted Forester models went on sale through its Subaru dealerships nationwide on January 27.
