Combined Technologies Group To Introduce NordiCon FM Transmitter for iPod
DETROIT--Jan. 26, 2005--New car dealers attending the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention in New Orleans from Jan. 29, 2005 - Feb. 1, 2005, will have an opportunity to view flexible GPS and entertainment products available for any car in their lot, not just the luxury models. Exhibitor Combined Technologies Group, LLC, Booth #4103, will display high-end, easily installed GPS, DVD and entertainment systems, and sold exclusively to new car dealers, under the brand name NordiCon.Combined Technologies Group is using its NADA exhibit to introduce consumer-friendly upgrades to the NordiCon GPS Navigator and Portable DVD units and to let dealers see its newest generation of wireless products, including the NordiCon FM transmitter for iPod(R),
"With the increasing popularity and sale of iPods(R) we developed a NordiCon FM transmitter that securely holds a full size or mini iPod(R) and wirelessly transmits digital music through a car's sound system," said Vincent A. Caminiti, CEO of Combined Technologies Group. "It can give dealers an extra 'deal maker' to close the sale."
The NordiCon GPS Navigator takes a step forward with a handheld computer that holds maps of the entire U.S. and Canada and millions of points-of-interest. With this new unit, there is no need to make computer downloads of different regions of the country. A custom designed mounting solution securely holds the NordiCon Navigator within easy reach of the driver and allows screen positioning for vertical or horizontal viewing of easy-to-read 3-D maps.
The NordiCon Portable DVD, a slim line unit with 7" screen and player all in one, has the latest in anti-scratch coating. The NordiCon DVD is fully loaded with accessories including dual wired lightweight earbuds. An optional wireless broadcast package is also available that includes wireless stereo headphones and wireless transmission from the DVD.
The typical backseat question of "Are we there yet?" is expected to become a thing of the past for families. The NordiCon Portable DVD is easily installed and can be just as easily moved to another car, hotel room, or carried along outdoors.
"We've designed our products to give new car dealers and their customers much greater savings and flexibility over factory installed systems," added Caminiti.
The flexibility of each NordiCon product is the unique mounting solution that enables car dealers to offer them on any line of new or used vehicles.
