Spartan Chassis Dealer Meeting Draws Over 100 Fire Apparatus Professionals to Las Vegas

Dealers, Suppliers and Spartan Executives Gather for Training and New Product Previews

CHARLOTTE, Mich., Jan. 25 -- Spartan Chassis, a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, Inc. , today kicks off a two-day training conference for fire truck dealer partners and apparatus builders in Las Vegas.

"The dealer training conference is an opportunity for us to cultivate relationships and generate new product ideas with dealers, OEMs and other affiliates in the firefighting industry," said Richard Schalter, president of Spartan Chassis.

Over 100 fire truck dealers, dealership owners and apparatus builders from the U.S. and Canada have gathered in Las Vegas to view the latest product and service innovations and enhancements for 2005. This is the third consecutive year Spartan has hosted the conference, which continues to draw more attendees every year and has become a cornerstone for dealer training and communication.

The dealer training conference serves to establish direct lines of communication between Spartan Chassis, OEMs and dealers. Spartan, the leading manufacturer of fire truck chassis and cabs, offers a unique manufacturing structure that allows multiple OEMs to integrate a wide range of chassis and cab options with specific fire apparatus. This flexible design approach creates chassis and cab combinations unique to each OEM and offers dealers selling options to meet the needs of departments of all sizes.

The conference also offers an opportunity to recognize the sales and service achievements of dealers and dealership owners. Spartan will be honoring the 23 top dealers and dealership owners from each North American region for their excellent performance. They will be recognized and awarded during a dinner ceremony on the final day of the conference.

This year's conference will also feature author and motivational speaker T. Scott Gross to present his principles of exceptional customer service, detailed in his latest book titled "Positively Outrageous Service."
