Today's RVs Offer Plenty of Storage; See the Newest Models at the Flint Camper & RV Show

FLINT, Mich., Jan. 25, 2005 -- Camping today isn't what it used to be. A family of four squeezed into a station wagon packed full with the bare necessities, food and clothing. Today's RVs are more comfortable and spacious than ever. They are light, well equipped and technologically advanced. What used to be luxuries, like fully equipped kitchens and baths, and central heating/air conditioning, are now standard on most models. Several new models are even designed with built-in garages, providing plenty of storage space for your "toys." Now you have room for ATVs, bicycles, watercraft, snowmobiles, strollers, extra toys for the kids or anything that will fit in the RV's garage.

At the Flint Camper & RV Show, there's something for every taste and budget. Show visitors can find new, year 2005 RVs on display including folding campers, motor homes, travel trailers, and fifth wheel travel trailers. Display models range in price from $4,000 to more than $120,000. Booths will have parts and accessories, and free information about campgrounds.

The 29th Annual Flint Camper & RV Show will be held Thursday, February 10 through Sunday, February 13, 2005, at the Perani Arena & Event Center (I-69 and Center Road) and is open weekdays 2-9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The cost for adult admission (age 13 and up) is $6; children age 12 and under are admitted free! Seniors admitted for just $4.50 on Thursday, February 10 (no coupon necessary).

The show is sponsored by the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC), a member organization representing all aspects of the camping and RV industries.

Consumers can call 517.349.8881 or visit http://www.marvac.org/ for additional information on the RV show.
