Lear Announces Executive Appointments In Its Asian OEM Group
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 24, 2005 -- Lear Corporation today announced the following organizational changes, effective immediately:
Gideon Jewel has been named president of the Japanese Customer Focused Division, reporting to Doug DelGrosso, President and Chief Operating Officer - Americas, and Don Stebbins, President and Chief Operating Officer - Europe, Asia and Africa. Based in Japan, Jewel is responsible for the global business and strategic activities related to Lear's Japanese customers.
Peter Kong continues as President - Asia Pacific Operations, with key emphasis on Lear's business in China, India, Korea and Thailand. Located in Singapore, Kong reports to Don Stebbins.
Tim McAndrew has been named vice president of Lear's Asian OEM Group and is responsible for all activities in that division's Plymouth, Mich. office. McAndrew will manage the day-to-day business in Plymouth as well as coordinating global resources to meet the needs of Lear's Asian customer's requirements. He will report to Gideon Jewel.
