Energy & Engine Technology Corporation Announces Major Improvements to Its AXP 1000 Product
PLANO, Texas, Jan. 19, 2005 -- Energy & Engine Technology Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: EENT) (EENT) announced today that it has made major improvements to its AXP 1000 product in the past few months. First and foremost, the unit has been outfitted with additional sound dampening and muffling materials, thus dropping noise output to 76 decibels at 3 meters, making it the quietest air cooled unit on the market and one of the quietest overall.
Additionally, it has expanded the HVAC options by making its proprietary split unit HVAC system available. The condenser and compressor unit sits outside the cab either between the rails or on a side rail unit, thus significantly freeing up the limited space available in the cab. The small evaporator coil and fan unit remains in the cab and can be mounted either on a wall, under the bunk or closet shelf or be situated on the floor.
Lastly, there have been a series of mechanical and electrical upgrades to improve overall quality and efficiency.
The new, improved unit is now available for shipment with its split unit HVAC system for the retail price of $6,500 (still under a one year payout), and shipment of the first 20 is expected by the end of the month for a retail gross invoice price of $130,000. As we bring on our nationwide manufacturer's rep and dealer network over the next two weeks, we will have the opportunity for multi unit sales at a volume discounted price. The coincidence of the timing of the availability of the split unit HVAC with the completion of other upgrades provides the perfect entree for the launch of the new, improved product at the Mid America Truck Show (MATS) in March in Louisville, KY. MATS is the largest truck show in the U.S. with an average annual attendance in excess of 80,000 people.
