* Free admission to the North American International Auto Show on Jan. 19, 2005 with donation of a clean, gently-used suit to benefit "Jackets for Jobs, Inc."

* DaimlerChrysler's Women's Forum takes active role in "Education Day" at 2005 North American International Auto Show

WHAT: DaimlerChrysler's Women's Forum will sponsor "Suits, Cars and Seminars" during Education Day on Jan. 19 at the 2005 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Women's Forum members will use this opportunity to highlight the contributions and influence of women in the automotive industry and the marketplace.

The Women's Forum is encouraging anyone who plans to attend the show Wednesday, Jan. 19 to bring a gently-used, dry-cleaned women's suit in exchange for free admission to the NAIAS on that day. The suit donation drop- off booth will be located in the Cobo Hall lobby. The suits will be donated to Jackets for Jobs, Inc., a Michigan WORKS! Affiliate, which helps economically disadvantaged women in the Detroit Metropolitan area to successfully enter the work force. Additionally, a $25,000 grant will be presented to the organization by the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund.

As a part of Education Day on Jan. 19 at the NAIAS, Women's Forum members will be offering 15-minute informational seminars on topics such as vehicle design trends, vehicle financing, vehicle maintenance, vehicle safety features and vehicle personalization. The seminars are open to anyone who attends the auto show on Jan. 19.

Seminars will take place in the Chrysler, Jeep(R), Dodge and Mopar(R) Speedshop displays. In addition to the seminars, drawings for Mopar and Dodge Viper accessories will be held at the end of each round of seminars in the Mopar Speedshop (located on the lower-level of Cobo Hall) for seminar participants who are present during the drawings.
