ANSYS Awarded General Services Administration Contract for CFX Products

SOUTHPOINTE, Pa., Jan. 18, 2005 -- ANSYS, Inc. , a global innovator of simulation software and technologies designed to optimize product development processes, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to sell its CFX(R) products and services, joining the other ANSYS(R) tools available to Federal customers through the GSA program.

This contract augments ANSYS' ability to provide a full range of products to federal customers enabling them to quickly and effectively purchase the products and services that they need using pre-established rates. Created by Congress to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve the public, GSA provides services and solutions for the office operations of more than one million federal workers located in 8,000-plus government-owned and leased buildings in 2,000 U.S. communities.
